Keywords for June 2012: Secrets, Love & Spirits and Gerbils?

Did you ever watch a hamster in a cage as it gets into one of those wheels and runs and runs and runs going nowhere? Then it gets out of the wheel, runs to its food, and eats. Right after that it snuggles under something and sleeps. You might be feeling as if you are doing the Gerbil Skittering with your life. If so, get ready for the delights that are expected to happen in June 2012.

We start off on June 4 with the Lunar Eclipse and add Neptune going retrograde in Pisces until mid-November, 2012. In astrology Neptune stands for the underworld, those things that you cannot see. Now the veil is pulled back and some of the revelations before you may be pretty stark. Expect secrets to seep out like mist in the night. Things in your unconscious mind enter the realm of consciousness with sensitivity and ease.

Last month tension poured into most relationships…including friendships, significant others, and so on.  Were you reviewing your feelings about your loved ones, friend, relative, co-worker? Perhaps you decided to end a long-term association that seemed like it outlived its usefulness. Many “secrets” started to come to light. These could have been finding out something hidden about someone, or it could have been that you had a major revelation about some aspect of your personality after recalling some memory that had been stored away in your unconscious mind for a long time. Planet Venus retrograde since May 15, now really gets a power boost by adding the magic of retrograde Neptune to the pot.

Venus, love’s own guardian angel, can be seen transiting across the Sun on June 5 and 6. This won’t happen again until 2117 and 2125. Relationships are more than just a thought here and there…get ready to feel obsessed on the subject. (Don’t forget to book a session with me for insights and advice!)

While Venus enflames our hearts and minds, seeking the kind of grounding that love brings, Jupiter in Gemini (from June 11 on) keeps us tossing and turning with dreams of all kinds. You might dream of those you love who have passed on (the ethers will be thin enough for lots of spirit sightings) and recall long conversations with them when you awaken. Or, perhaps those dreams dredge up angers you thought had healed with some loved ones.

Venus in retrograde creates the kind of inner energy that says “back up and think about what boundaries and agreements you want in your relationships.” Since May 15, Venus  heralded in a need for reconstructing intimacy in relationships, for thinking about what compromises are needed to ensure that you’re both getting your needs met, and upgrading your beliefs to fit the societal beliefs prevalent now.

Jupiter’s powerful position backed up by other astrological partnering creates my favorite sound: ka-ching…Ka-Ching…KA-CHING. During this month (depending on the planets in your chart) you could receive money owed to you, inheritances, or payoffs of unimaginable proportions. ka-ching…Ka-Ching…KA-CHING. Ask for that raise! Look for that new job! Kick start that new enterprise.

You could also be of those people who find out you had someone’s feelings for you totally wrong, and there they are at your door wanting to start a whole new life with you. Talk about surprises!
