Humankind loves symbols. Early man painted symbols on the cave walls before evolution created a brain that had the ability to develop speech in order to communicate and to leave perhaps a historical or creative record.  (Some suggest that primitive people didn’t need speech as they projected images to each other in a fashion that would be termed extra sensory projection or telepathy today.) Astrology and astrological signs are depicted as symbols, as are music, physics, and mathematics for a few examples.

Las Vegas expects thousands of marriages today for 11-11-11. In 2007 a record 4000+ marriages took place.  For many, the symbol of this date means good luck for their union with their loved one. If you believe the date is lucky, then it is. Our reality is really about what we believe. Our beliefs shape the world we experience. They are the cause to our effects.

As we approach the next few weeks you might find that you are subjected to quite a few tests about what you believe. (Mars in Virgo, Uranus and Jupiter). There’s a hard element that sends your mind into your core, driving you toward a desire for work, for a career that fits in with your values, for the relationship that blends with those also. If you’ve been procrastinating about a job change, you might find your present circumstances intolerable and throw yourself into a frenzied pursuit of career happiness. A belief that there are no jobs and no opportunities – and this applies to relationships also – is put on ignore as a great surge of willpower thrusts you forward into uncharted territory.

It is best you get everything in place and in writing prior to November 23 when Mercury Retrograde begins. You may find during this Mercury Retrograde (until December 13) that it is of major importance to you to refocus, readjust and revise prior goals. Quiet time contemplating your steps toward your future leads to productive outcomes.

The Partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon over the Thanksgiving holiday also intensifies your shifts in values and beliefs and presents challenges.  You might be quite moody in the late evening of those days. Dreams can be quite revealing of unconscious motives and drives.

The great news is that you will feel like playing, too. It’s much easier to laugh and joke in the next few weeks.  If you’ve been reclusive for a few months, you’ll now find yourself frantically dialing long lost associations for parties, lunches and any excuse for getting together.

An interesting aspect also is that you will feel no obligation to attend functions with relatives or others for the holiday if you don’t enjoy their company! With guilt-free influences of Sagittarius at your back, you’ll opt to spend time with those whose company you truly enjoy.

Your intuition will speak to you clearly; you’ll have the ability to leap over mental and emotional blocks quickly and efficiently. I recently read that scientists have determined that we have gut feelings about things long before our minds figure it out. So tuning into information and utilizing it is eeeaaassssyyyy. You’ll make better and faster decisions by checking into your gut and your heart.
