Trending now: The return of relationships

Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius until December 13 causing communication breaches. However, relationships benefit from this at this time because we’re refocusing, readjusting and revising all our beliefs and values.

Venus and Pluto move into Capricorn on November 26 allowing us to think and feel more stable than we have in a while. Even If you feel like you are barely surviving, your thoughts are going to move toward the positive end of the spectrum to give consideration and thanks for what you do have. I guess that is the positive side of disasters and problems…we become grateful for what we do have. We learn an appreciation for the things that money can’t buy. During this holiday season there is a tendency to seek out the company of others as we attempt to reinvent ourselves and share our thoughts, ideas, and hearts.

Relationships are lifelong negotiation projects.  This applies to lovers, children, siblings, parents and/or friends. While Uranus was retrograde since July the urge was to go inside ourselves and answer a lot of our “Why?” questions.  Every one of us has had to consider what we are really made of and what we really want because our outer world, due to the economy and technological changes, has forced us to do so.

Around December 9, Uranus is moving direct again giving us an opportunity and the energy to bond with others, feeling able to make concessions in order to hold on to some of these relationships.  Look for a lot of people to begin streaming in from your past, as you also decide to attempt some kind of reconnect with those that you have strayed from, regardless of the reason for the separation. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you are joining up with all of them again. It does give you the opportunity to see if the changes they have made in their life and you in yours make for a positive experience for the both of you.

Sometimes we can’t see the world around us – all we see are problems. There’s a major trend (which will continue through the next several years) to follow our instincts, our intuition, and our hearts rather than allowing the peer and societal pressures to do the choosing of our life path. With the outer world in shambles in terms of what institutions and people we can trust, we’re slowly transitioning to checking in with our gut feelings first before making major shifts or decisions.  There’s also more of a trend to brain storm and converse with others or the internet to get advice from a lot of different points of view before making any decisions.

The last thirty years have created a more individualistic society; now we enter a period of collective groups bonding together for our causes. It’s also going to feel better to have people around than to face life alone. If you’ve had a tendency to withdraw socially, you’ll find loneliness even more biting than before, which will either leave you in your self-inflicted pain, or will push you to branch out and find others that you can identify with.

From now and all through December, it is best to put your fears behind you and take a chance on the “new.” Even if by some chance you screw some things up, bad decisions do make good stories.
